Adam, thanks for the feedback.

What you are looking for is not so easy to achieve (as the variables in 
the script do not have data types; at least nothing more than integer 
versus string ). Tight now we rely on the static IP definition to know 
that that's an "IP"...but when taking the value from a variable we will 
not have this hint anymore.

The only option is to "invent" a specific function or new operator for this.
