What you are looking for is not so easy to achieve (as the
variables in the script do not have data types; at least nothing
more than integer versus string ). Tight now we rely on the static
IP definition to know that that's an "IP"...but when taking the
value from a variable we will not have this hint anymore.<br>
<br>
The only option is to "invent" a specific function or new operator
for this.<br>

to subnet comparisons is very promising in version 2.4.
However, the limitation of having a hard coded value in the
script makes it inflexible for production applications/uses.
We would like to make a suggestion to add a transformation
that would convert a string CIDR value (eg. “10.10.10.0/24”)
to a CIDR value (not sure what the value is behind the
scenes). I appreciated the discussion. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
