no, there’s no need to sync dialogs. It’s another type of cluster.
 
As for now, the main purpose is just to have a common
user location dataset, when OpenSIPS nodes will know
the location of each registered device. If it’s connected locally,
it will serve the call locally. If the device is registered on the other node,
it will route the call there.
 
Sure I know about clustering with dialogs syncing (we have such cluster),
but this question is about another type of clustering.
 
I emulated network connectivity ptoblems between two nodes
(just dropped packets going to MongoDB instance) and after that
I was unable to make any calls, no matter which device on which node is registered.
 
So, I’d like to find the best solution which will sustain some short-time
disconnections between nodes.
 
I’m reading about MongoDB clustering but not sure if this is what I need.
