[OpenSIPS-Users] Is opensips a front end to asterisk?

Gee, I took a lot of 'input' on how to ask questions and how 'difficult' this would be and in the end, no one bothers to actually answer the question. I know it's pretty easy to simply tell someone that it could be used for anything and in many ways but I did re-state my questions as best I could so sure would be nice to start getting input on my actual questions now.
