[OpenSIPS-Devel] [opensips] /tmp/opensips_fifo intermittently disappears (#235)

We're using OpenSIPS 1.9 and have a Nagios check set to report total call count, which occasionally fails. If you dig far enough, the error message will be as follows:

ERROR: Error opening OpenSIPS's FIFO /tmp/opensips_fifo
ERROR: Make sure you have the line 'modparam("mi_fifo", "fifo_name", "/tmp/opensips_fifo"' in your config
ERROR: and also have loaded the mi_fifo module.

Of course, this line is indeed in our opensips.cfg - 

modparam("mi_fifo", "fifo_name", "/tmp/opensips_fifo")

When this check fails I'm noticing that /tmp/opensips_fifo does not exist. OpenSIPS begins updating this file again within half an hour and the check passes again.
