<p>You should be able to call any opensips script function from the
python code, including pv_printf() as suggested in #1893, by using
the <i>call_function()</i> method [1]. This has been made
possible from 3.1 onwards, but indirectly, by porting all opensips
core functions to the same calling interface as module functions.</p>
