The SMS module was written maybe more than 15 years ago, maybe
some things changed in the meanwhile - this is the reason more
marking the module as obsolete as (a) there was no
reason/need/interest for it and (b) it was not maintained in these
last 15 years.<br>

access modem, but actually it can't pass even init properly. I

<tt>You should see some DBG log with "opening modem" - this is
the very beginning of the modem init sequence. Try to grab
all the logs (from the same proc) starting with that line.<br>
