<p><span>immediately after starting captagent, which transmits HEP to an opensips 2.3 configured as a HEP switch based on the hep switch tutorials, i receive tons of messages:</span></p>

<p><span>Oct 17 17:03:43 XXX /usr/sbin/opensips[815]: ERROR:proto_hep:hep_udp_read_req: failed to run hep callbacks</span></p>

<p><span>This happens even if the hep_route/route() are commented and there is nothing but module parameters in the config. (As long as the HEP traffic continues to come in...)</span></p>

<p>I am not able to find information about this erorr message, any idea?</p>
