I'm looking for some clarification as to how db_postgres behaves when connecting to a remote database. OpenSIPS connects to the remote db when pulling down new configuration for drouting, permissions, and a couple other modules. The cdr records (acc module) are written locally.

It seems that the opensips process continues to open new connections to the remote database without closing them. It eventually eats up all the configured connections on the database until they have to be manually removed. Is there a configuration option I'm missing somewhere that could be causing this behavior?

I'm running a newer version of 1.6.4 though not the latest from svn.

Thanks,
Ryan
