The problem is not in triggering the event in script when a dialog
timeout occurs - the problem is that all events in opensips are SIP
message driven :)....so to be able to run a script route, you need a
sip message.<br>

to do something else other than end the call on a timeout?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I am trying to play a “remaining time
announcement” i.e “40seconds remaing” via rtpproxy but cannot
see a way of triggering this from within the script.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I assume that I would need to fire an
external app to monitor the call length and send the
announcement trigger to rtpproxy independant of the script?
However this will be a pain as I won’t know what rtpproxy was
used for the call to send the request to ( if multiples used).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Anyone already implemented something like
this, don’t want to go to the length of installing asterisk or
freeswitch as this will ad uneeded layers of complexity for my
