you can yuse whatever you want to write the app/web portal etc.
If you want a portal to modify the dB, then have a front end which can
display the current data and accept the fresh data in an online form.
then use, whatever backend to access and manipulate the database
directly. Then you want the app to run the MI commands on the Host that
needs changing.
