as OpenSIPS does not handle RTP.

But most likely the problem is related to nftables/iptables.
I presume that your operating system uses iptables
and RTPEngine 12 uses nftables instead (though I haven't worked with 12).

If it is so (and if mr12 does not have any backwards compatibility
with older versions
and with iptables usage), you have to start using nftables in your
system instead of iptables.
