[OpenSIPS-Users] preferred OS and version for OpenSIPS?

I have been using OpenSIPs without the Control Panel. Just thought it might be helpful. Since it is based on php5, I assume it only works on older version of Debian.

My OpenSIPS run great on Debian 8 x64. I don't use OpenSIPS CP because i wrote from scratch a complete telephone management system for our istitution (you can change almost all of OpenSIPS configs simply populating mysql DB tables).

I installed it on newer version Ubtunu, but and it seems to work, but the Control Panel does not. The Control Panel I am guessing expects an older version of Debian.
