Yes, it is compatible. Make sure you install proper my-sql dependencies.

I'm compiling opensips 2.2.1 on CentOS 7 + MariaDB, But I can't compile db_mysql module. OpenSIPS and Mariadb are compatible with each other?
I can use MariaDB as OpenSIPS db engine?
