Dear OpenSIPS users,

I got success compiling, configuring, installing and running the OpenSIPS.

Then, I took a look at the log, just to see whether every thing was 100% ok.

I found:

Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] ERROR:rtpproxy:send_rtpp_command: can't send command to a RTP proxy Connection refused
Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] ERROR:rtpproxy:send_rtpp_command: proxy <udp:localhost:12221> does not respond, disable it
Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] WARNING:rtpproxy:rtpp_test: can't get version of the RTP proxy
Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] WARNING:rtpproxy:rtpp_test: support for RTP proxy <udp:localhost:12221> has been disabled temporarily

What should I do to avoid these erros?

There is no rtpproxy running in my system. (Command "ps -ef |grep rtpproxy" shows noting) .

In my opensips config file I have:

modparam("rtpproxy", "rtpproxy_sock", "udp:localhost:12221") # CUSTOMIZE ME

Should I run rtpproxy now or the OpenSIPS should have started it for me?

Is that port '12221' a kind of standard value?

Any hint will be very helpful!

Best regards.
