Hi,
You have to install mysql-client to meet db-mysql requirements, so 
Please issue the follwoing command:
yum install mysql-client

I'm having this weird message on menuconfig of OpenSIPS 1.8 on my CentOS 6.4:

You have enabled the 'db_mysql' module, so please install ' development libraries of mysql-client , tipically libmysqlclient-dev' Press any key to continue


Following the mysql packages installed on my system:

[root at li278-128 1.8]# yum list installed | grep mysql
>Failed to set locale, defaulting to C
>mysql.i686            5.1.69-1.el6_4      @updates                              
>mysql-devel.i686      5.1.69-1.el6_4      @updates                              
>mysql-libs.i686       5.1.69-1.el6_4      @updates                              
>mysql-server.i686     5.1.69-1.el6_4      @updates         

Am i missing something?
