Hello
I have a question concerning a carrier that has happened a
configuration and do not quite understand how to integrate.
So far, I designed the system as follows:
USER ---+ +--- GATEWAY ---+
                 \ / \
USER --------- PROXY --------- GATEWAY --------- CARRIER
                 / \ /
USER ---+ +--- GATEWAY ---+
The carrier has provided me the data necessary for the entry / exit,
in which appears an IP signaling (X.X.X.15) and a media (X.X.X.16), I
have to do the same. So understand that I must put a proxy in front of
the gateway to receive the signals, but then the gateways must also
send the output to Kamailio. Is this correct?. Is this not be a
bottleneck?. I had designed so that the gateway send traffic directly,
but from what I can not seem to do so, because it has to reach the
signaling from the ip supplied by me.
                                                                        SIP
USER ---+ +--- GATEWAY -----+---- PROXY -+
                 \ / |
 / \
USER --------- PROXY --------- GATEWAY --+ +--- CARRIER
                 / \ |
/ /
USER ---+ +--- GATEWAY -+
            /
                                                        |
          MEDIA /
+------------------------------------+
Am I right? Do you have to do send the traffic out of the gateway for
this new server? I do not see much sense to integrate another proxy,
and that the former uses carrierroute and other modules, this will
only work as a pointer. Is that correct?. Thank you very much.
Best regards
Anto
