Thanks for your attention.
On this page [1] you can find some information from sipbroker.com on
how to configure dialing rules and Asterisk servers to use their
prefix service.
Also note that you can use sipbroker prefixes just by calling:
*PPPPNNNNN at sipbroker.com, where PPPP is the registrar sipbroker prefix
and NNNNN is the user name (or number alias) so for example you can
call my opensips.org address like: *967492424 at sipbroker.com.
I am not a SIP developer at all but I would say it is matter of
mapping something like this:
AA*PPPPNNNNN at opensips.org
to
*PPPPNNNNN at sipbroker.com
where "AA" is the prefix that indicates opensips.org that the
following is a sipbroker's prefixed address. "AA" may be even empty,
like ekiga.org does [2], but it is probably not an option to
opensips.org since it will collide with their own prefixes.
iptel.org uses "2220" as "AA" as (recently) explained in [3], so you
can call my opensips.org account from any iptel.org-enabled phone
like: 2220*967492424.
I hope all this is of some help.
Regards,
jorge.
