[OpenSIPS-Users] bye on timeout acc?

Understood. I used session timers as just as an example of something that might cause some in-dialog traffic. Other examples could be the call going on hold at the SIP level, or really any other reinvite.
I tried the timeout feature in early 1.5 and it wouldn’t drop the call. I haven’t revisited it since.
I can say that local_route works in 1.5, but the send_rad_acct may be different. Or perhaps it’s different in 1.6 with the AAA stuff.

Alex, thanks for the response.. does local_route work in 1.5?
Jeff,
For me, I use it as a call max duration. I wouldn't use this method for something like session-timers because I think there is already a method to handle that. I don't do session-timers so I can't really comment with any authority on that. :)

Gents,
Does this dialog timeout value function as a call max duration limit? Or, can the dialog timeout be reset by in-dialog requests like session timer reinvites?

You need to do send_rad_acc(200) in local_route for BYE.

Subject: [OpenSIPS-Users] bye on timeout acc?
Hello all,
I'm using the bye-on-timeout-flag:
http://www.opensips.org/html/docs/modules/devel/dialog.html#bye-on-timeout-flag-id
And I've noticed that it doesn't write an ACC record when the BYE is sent out. Is there anyway I can make a ACC record happen for these calls?
Thanks,
Brett
