Yes we are using that approach, it is quite simply just use sethostport
to send the traffic to the asterisk server, however you need a tls
compliant client to setup TLS

Does anyone uses opensips as a front end for asterisk server?
If yes I'd be glad to know if there are any tutorial on the subject
because I can't seem to find any. My goal is to use Opensips for AAA
and TLS with an Asterisk server behind.
