[OpenSIPS-Users] FreeRadius patch for OpenSer1.2.2

Yes. It was discussed at length by myself and others. The summary is that
SER/OpenSER/OpenSIPS do not do things correctly and therefore will not be
supported by default in FreeRADIUS.
The correct solution for any OpenSIPS specific attributes is to register an
enterprise number, and then use Vendor Specific Attributes. This is probably
an afternoons programming work.. At most a weekend.
The correct solution for general SIP attributes is either use existing RFC
specified attributes in the way they are defined (Dont repurpose them for
undefined things) or create a new RFC draft proposal that defines how you
think things should work (without breaking any of the existing RADIUS RFC
attributes)..
Please dont blame FreeRADIUS for "not supporting" something that is
incompatible with other RADIUS implementations and standards.. The OpenSIPS
implementation should be made compatible :-)
Regards
Peter
