[OpenSIPS-Users] perl module

Hello all


     This must've been asked a thousand times, but i', having problems
compiling the pel module...


i set the environment variables like so.

PERLLDOPTS=`perl -MExtUtils::Embed -e ldopts`
PERLCCOPTS=`perl -MExtUtils::Embed -e ccopts`
TYPEMAP=/usr/share/perl/5.10/ExtUtils/typemap

but when compiling i get:

Linking perl.so
gcc -shared  -Wl,-O2 -Wl,-E    opensipsxs.o perl.o perlfunc.o   `perl
-MExtUtils::Embed -e ldopts` -o perl.so
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lperl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

can anyone help?
