I don't know if the guys from Open IMS Core have made any update but
their CDP module
could be a starting point:
Of course this has been discussed last year on the list.

Hello Alexandre,
OpenSIPS has some DIAMETER support for auth and acc, but is based on an
obsolete diameter library, so I would not count it as working and valid
(especially that the the library was based on DIAMETER draft and not on
RFC).
Last year we had a major rework on the AAA stuff in OpenSIPS (see
http://www.opensips.org/Main/News0038) to create a common AAA API for
both RADIUS and DIAMETER. Of course the DIAMETER part is not yet
integrated in the new AAA framework as we were not able to find a valid
and good implementation for a DIAMETER library - (OpenDiameter web site
not working for several months :P)
But the old DIAMETER libs (auth_diameter and acc) should still work
(with the old DISC diameter lib) out of the new AAA framework.
We would be really in re-vitalizing the DIAMETER support in OpenSIPS, if
somebody points out a good and reliable DIAMETER lib.
Regards,
Bogdan

Hello,
I am currently working on an OpenSource implementation of Diameter
(freeDiameter). Since I may have to work with Diameter SIP, I would
like to have a SIP server to make tests.
After checking Asterisk website, it seems the support of diameter was
rejected because of lack of time by the developper. I discovered
OpenSIPS which seems to support Diameter. As all the website pages
doesn't tell the same thing (unmaintened, fully supported for Acct and
Auth, maybe supported for 2.x), I would like to be sure, does OpenSIPS
fully support Diameter Auth and Acct?
If that's the case, Keio University will use OpenSIPS for the testbed
and promote it when a release of freeDiameter is out.
Thank You!
