[OpenSIPS-Devel] How opensips identify child process to send SIP message?

Hi,

When I mention *children=1* in the config file I still see child_init 5
times but out of these 5 only 1 receives the SIP messages.

My question is, how does opensips identify to which child to send message?

Can we also identify the process within the code? For ex in the child_init
code of the module?

I hope I sound clear what I am asking.
