@bogdan-iancu I'm asking my developers about mi_datagram. In response to your second question, I watched the log and noticed this during a timeout event:

Jul 24 12:48:01 amz1vpreg1 /usr/local/opensips/sbin/opensips[5183]: ERROR:mi_fifo:mi_open_reply_pipe: open error (/tmp/opensips_receiver_8793): Permission denied
Jul 24 12:48:01 amz1vpreg1 /usr/local/opensips/sbin/opensips[5183]: ERROR:mi_fifo:mi_fifo_server: cannot open reply pipe /tmp/opensips_receiver_8793
```

I took a look and although there appear to be no explicit permissions issues, that pipe file is from 2013 - there are numerous opensips_receiver files in /tmp that are not getting cleaned up.
