If it generically works, it should work also for the dialog pinging - the idea with my patch is , for replies (which may have the cseq affected) to take the cseq from the request stored in the transaction (so the original cseq).
I will upload the patch on GIT and do the backport. Maybe @saghul can do a test to confirm my theory on the dialog pinging :) .
