Yes, that's "PIDF manipulation", you may store a PIDF document in your XCAP server and that PIDF would be used along with other PIDFs when aggregating.

There is a separate setting for that: pidf_manipulation. So if both pidf_manipulation and generate_offline_body are set to 0 and there are no PIDFs stored an empty NOTIFY would be generated when you send a PUBLISH with Expires: 0. You can combine both settings as you wish, no problem :-)
