Bogdan,
Why everyone wouldn't use solutions that comfortable for him?
Why opensips wouldn't have internal substitutions and defines?
If you like m4, you will use it and internal features will not disturb you.
If I like internal substitutions, I will use it.
I use m4 now and it runs from my init.d.
But if opensips would have internal substitutions support,
I would use only it, because I don't need m4 power.
My script consists from five m4 parts.
And when I debug them, it would be very helpful to see:
Error in file blablabla.m4, line 13, but not
Error in opensips.cfg line 154.
And I should go to opensips cfg to see what is line 154, then I should
suggest in what m4 file was error, and then go to blablabla.m4 to find
my line there. It's really annoying me. :-)
Earlier, when I used kamailio (before I became opensips user), I used
internally substitutes, defines, includes and were happy. Now I prefer
opensips only, but I miss such things, that were there.
