Initial Comment:
This patch causes an empty result for a query to return -2 instead of -1, like all other errors. It allows the script writer to differentiate between a failed query (bad table, bad syntax, etc) and a query that simply had no results.

The reasoning behind this is that sometimes an empty result is acceptable, while a failure for other reasons may not be.
