Initial Comment:
The variable $branch(flags) is not available within reply route: it is always NULL. It isn't possible to display the branch flags using xlog() or use complex avp checks on branch flags within the reply route. This functionality was lost (I think) when $bf was converted into $branch(flags).

Good news is that isbflagset() and setbflag() work as expected within reply route.

I put back the $bf and $bF as there was no other way to access the branch
flags of the current branch ( $branch accesses only additional branches).
