Summary: Weird issue with DLG vars

Initial Comment:
I added the following to my initial INVITE route, immediately after
 the call to create_dialog(), just to be sure:

  $dlg_val(testa) = "user1";
  $dlg_val(testb) = "user2";
  if ($dlg_val(testa) == $dlg_val(testb))
  {
    xlog("L_INFO", "Equal: $dlg_val(testa) $dlg_val(testb)");
  } else {
    xlog("L_INFO", "NOT equal: $dlg_val(testa) $dlg_val(testb)");
  }

Syslog says: "Equal: user1 user2"

Aaaaaargh!!!
