Setting parameters in config.h parameters does not reflected in complied  binary.

Version  tested : 1.5.X  , 1.6.0

OS : RHEL 5.4 Fedora  11 Centos 5.4

what parameters you tried to change and did not work? How you tested that
the param actually did not work?
